Health Insurance Pool (HIP)
If you are not insurable, have health problems that may cause a denial, or have multiple expensive prescriptions that may cause a denial, please call the Health Insurance Pool of Utah (HIP) at 801-442-6660, or toll free at 800-538-5038.
The Health Insurance Pool of Utah insures individuals in the individual and family market that are not able to be insured in the private market.
The HIP plans are guaranteed issue, but there are some requirements you must meet to qualify. For more information, please call one of the two HIP numbers above.
